LAKE FOREST, Calif. (AP) -- Primoris Services Corp. said Wednesday that a subsidiary received a $99.2 million contract to provide construction and other services for a California power plant.
The specialty contractor and engineering company said the Northern California Power Agency awarded the contract to ARB Inc. Primoris said its backlog has now reached more than $1 billion, a first in the company's history. That's up 30 percent from the end of 2009.
ARB will provide services to a 296 megawatt power plant in Lodi, Calif. The project should be completed by June 1, 2012.
Shares of Primoris, based in Lake Forest, rose by a penny to $6.26 in afternoon trading.
