South Central Up 103.7% Southeast Up 19.1% Western States Up 12.9% Northeast Down 8.4% Missouri River Basin Down 17.7% Great Lakes Down 31.2% Ohio Valley Down 33.9% Southeast Up 7.8% Western States Up 5.8% Ohio Valley Down 1.8% South Central Down 6.8% Northeast Down 9.3% Great Lakes Down 11.7% Missouri River Basin Down 18.5% Though in many instances, outages do require employment of Boilermakers beyond the Local Union's membership numbers, this still gives a view of where a Boilermaker was able to make a living at the trade without traveling out of Local and where traveling, or seeking other sources of income, was a necessity. Based upon the hours worked in the Local Union, the percentage reflects how much of a full period of employment each member would have achieved.
